[jabberd] jabberd2 and postgresql

Hello,

I've been having trouble getting jabberd 1.4 stable on a Linode server
(UML kernel 2.4 or 2.6), so I decided to try jabberd2.  

I like the more strongly delineated components a lot, but unfortunately,
unless I'm overlooking something, all the SQL queries are hardcoded.
Why is this?  Especially since xdb_sql (although the queries it needed
to do were lame) allowed me to use whatever queries and table structure
I wanted?

Is anyone working on fixing this, or can someone point me to the missing
docs? :)
