nono... RFC1918 was just talking about the IP address 172.16/12. You
didn't mention your IP in the mail, so I just made one up... Sorry for the
confusion. If you try to lookup 172.16 it should fail, because these IP's
are non routable. They are for private networking...
The DNS issue should be taken care of if they just set the PTR record.
Actually delegating control over a single IP address is alot of work for
very little gain.
