MAXDNAME is defined in /usr/include/arpa/nameser.h:
#define MAXDNAME 256 /* maximum domain name */
For simplicity, I just added "-DMAXDNAME=256" to CFLAGS in the
"platform-settings" file. The developers should probably fix it in
"configure".
I seem to recall that there was another gotcha or two in the Solaris 2.6
installation but I don't recall what they were. There might have been
something with pth.
