I recomend you to use an XML check system...

	I've just installed this aim-transport-0.9.24c 
	& Followed the instructions in  the README
	It giives me 'Configuration parsing using jabber.xml failed'
	it there something wrong with the README instructions or am I 
	doing something seriously wrong here ...
