I don't understand why this question is asked from time to time ... s2s
is enabled on all servers I know if you do a default installation. At
least in both implementations you mention it is enabled by default.
If it doesn't work for you: check that you are addressing your messages
to users of the other server right, check that the DNS entries of both
servers are correct, and check that there is no firewall blocking the
communications between the servers (you need TCP port 5269 open in both
directions).
