[jadmin] Broken Pipe Error

Hi Friends,
I have sucessfuly configured Jabber IM erver on my server with all its
prerequisites.
There was no error occured during installation
but when I try to start my jabber server it gives error

JBRD: version(2.0s11)
JBRD: config_dir(/usr/local/etc/jabberd)
JBRD: LaunchJob: router -> /usr/local/bin/router -c
/usr/local/etc/jabberd/router.xml -D
JBRD: LaunchJob: resolver -> /usr/local/bin/resolver -c
/usr/local/etc/jabberd/resolver.xml -D
JBRD: LaunchJob: sm -> /usr/local/bin/sm -c /usr/local/etc/jabberd/sm.xml -D
Broken pipe


Cud anybody ple tell me how to resolve it,
do I need to configure my DNS for this ?
at the moment I am using hostname
