Thanks both of you, but I would really prefer to be able to do that on
jabberd2 and not on 1.4. The main reason is that I'm using a modified
jabberd2 to suit my specific needs (namely the lack of public IP addresses
and that the virtual hosts are but a temporary solution for my network).
However, even if I prefer jabberd2, please tell me what docs to consult to do
it on jabberd1.4 (or a sample config file). I have jabberd1.4 installed on
the gateway but I haven't configured it *ever* (just apt-get install, disable
registration, disable authentication so users couldn't connect to it). I
could use it for the vhosts if I cannot get it working in j2.
