Hey Lisa,

The feature that you are asking for is called "shared groups" in Wildfire (http://www.jivesoftware.com/products/wildfire/features/sharedgroups.jsp). When you create a group you can specify if members of the group are visible between them, publicly visible (your case) or visible to other groups. Shared groups is a server side feature that should work with compatible XMPP clients.

Regards,

  Dear everybody,

  http://ejabberd.jabber.ru/shared-roster-all
here, i got example 3 of "everybody has 'weatherman' and 'governor' on their roster"
. however, this is the inner function of ejabberd.

Now, i am use wildfire as the jabber server, and i want to have a public man to in everyone's roster automatically as she or he loggs on my server.

So, should i change the source code of wildfire, or there is some way to creat it on the client side?

Could anyone give me some suggestion? Thanks!!

  lisa
