[jadmin] Ubuntu 6.06; jabberd 1.4.3: "read error on coprocess"

I've removed the elements you folks suggested but, no change.

I've switched to 1.4.4, but this is exactly the same.

Makes me wish I was a C programmer!  What could cause read()<=0 ?
