I tried using the latest version, 0.4 RC1 on a fresh install of 6.1.
First thing I did was cvsupped the base system, and installed a fresh
ports tree from the ftp site.
When running bandersnatch2.pl, I get the following error.
Can't locate POE/Preprocessor.pm in @INC (@INC contains:
/usr/local/lib/perl5/5.8.8/BSDPAN
/usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/mach
/usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8
/usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl
/usr/local/lib/perl5/5.8.8/mach
/usr/local/lib/perl5/5.8.8 .) at ./bandersnatch2.pl line 88.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at ./bandersnatch2.pl line 88.
I posted this error to the FreeBSD forums, and received a reply that the
POE::Preprocessor has been removed as of March
http://search.cpan.org/src/RCAPUTO/POE-0.3601/CHANGES
From the link:

poe/lib/POE/Preprocessor.pm D; poe/lib/POE/Macro D;
poe/tests/10_units/01_preprocessor D; poe/mylib/preprocessor.perl A;
poe/mylib/PoeBuildInfo.pm M
Remove POE::Preprocessor. Replaced it with a simple, almost one-liner
preprocessor that's run at Makefile.PL time.
I'm not a perl programmer, so I'm out of luck getting it working. I'm
guessing that you did not run into this issue because you are running an
older version of POE. How old is your system? I did my install 2 weeks
ago.
Best regards,
