I'm trying to setup jabberd 2.x, but keep running into mysql issues.

So, 2 questions:

1) Does jabberd 2.x work with MySQL 5(.0.24) ?
And
2) After installed, what are the paths to the MySQL libraries s I can properly declare them?

I was using this configure command:

./configure --enable-mysql --enable-debug --enable-idn --enable-ssl --with-extra-include-path=/usr/local/mysql/lib --with-extra-library-path=/usr/local/mysql/lib
