I don't really see why.
Previously XMPP service for domain.com was handled by SRV record.
Now it's handled by A record.
Nothing changed from the XMPP point of view...

Maybe server configuration changed?
Ivo, have you migrated all user data (namely rosters) or only account
data?
If you didn't migrate rosters od domain.com users, the reauthorisation
procedure is imminent.
