According to Illuminati 73,46% client IPs a natted: http:// 
illuminati.coralcdn.org/stats/ Thus, we may expect direct p2p  
connections in half of the cases. NAT is evil.
Lets calculate bandwidth consumption by a Bouillon client. Let  
average stanza frequency be 100Hz. Average Bouillon stanza size is  
300 bytes. After 10:1 compression, 3Kbytes/sec ~> 32Kbit/s. Ideally,  
1Gbit full-duplex pipe will accommodate 32768 clients. So, in this  
variant Jabber server will host as much Bouillon clients, as SOCKS  
software permits (C10K problem and such). I doubt the current  
JEP-0065/SOCKS5 implementation(s) will permit much.
