[jadmin] Broken pipe

Hi, I've built and installed jabber2 with mysql and I am at the testing
phase.

Mysql stats up ok, for security reasons I have configured it to listen on
tcpip only on 127.0.0.1 and nmap confirms it is not listening externally.
I can connect as a jabber user and show and describe the jabber databases
ok.

However if I start jabber from the command line I get:-

jabberd at ns2:/usr/bin$ jabberd &
[1] 9500
jabberd at ns2:/usr/bin$ *** glibc detected *** free(): invalid pointer:
0x4049ad14 ***

[1]+  Broken pipe             jabberd
jabberd at ns2:/usr/bin$


I'm guessing that the pipe that jabber is trying to talk to mysql on is
missing, but I can't find where the pipe is configured.
