[jadmin] No replies from the server

Hi,

 

I've successfully installed jabberd server 1.4.2 on Windows XP. I am also
able to do a telnet localhost 5222, and open up a stream for conversation
with the server. I've also registered some users. But I do not receive any
messages from the server. Like, when I set up the stream using 

 

<stream:stream

  to='localhost'

  xmlns='jabber:client'

  xmlns:stream='http://etherx.jabber.org/streams'> 

 

I am supposed to get the following reply from the server --> <?xml
version='1.0'?> <stream:stream
xmlns:stream='http://etherx.jabber.org/streams' id='some-random-id'
xmlns='jabber:client' from='localhost'>

 

And when 2 users are logged in, I tried sending message from one user to
another. I do not see the message being sent to the second user.

 

Could somebody help me out.
