[jadmin] Problems with /announce /announce/online etc

Hey everyone,

I'm brand new to this whole Jabber2 server thing, however I'm 
impressed with it sofar.

My only question at this point is, I'm using Exodus as a client, and 
when I hit F5 and type in servername/announce  it works

but if I add the servername/announce as a contact (to make it easier 
to send to) it always sits in pending and the messages don't seem to go out ?

can anyone shed some light on this ?
