[jadmin] PAM authentication

Hi everybody,

I'm trying to get around limitation of Jabberd regarding LDAP 
(requirement for OpenLDAP-2.1+) using PAM-LDAP pair. Did anybody 
evere do it? My experience so far is not so good since it appears 
that PAM doesn't even try to go out to LDAP. For interested I can 
post my /etc/pam.d/jabberd and /etc/ldap.conf. But right at this 
point I'm interested if anybody ever approached subject?
