[jadmin] jabberd2 freezes, probably LDAP problem

Hello,

I have a persistent problem with jabberd2. Sometimes the server freezes 
completely and must be restarted. I use jabberd2-s7 (I know, I am 
updating next week) as the server, postgreSQL for user database and LDAP 
for authentication. The only reference in the logs as to what might be 
wrong is found in the c2s.log.

c2s.log:
Fri May 12 10:28:37 2006 [error] ldap: couldn't start TLS: Can't contact 
LDAP server
Fri May 12 10:28:37 2006 [error] ldap: bind failed: Unknown error

The log entry seems to point to a failure to open a connection to the 
ldap server. The bug is hard to track as it seems to occur at random 
intervals. Could this be a client issue? Has anybody else encountered 
this behaviour?
