I already thought about suggesting, that the server implementations
should start having a commonly agreed date t from which on they refuse
to support legacy features (especially non-SASL-auth, port-5223-TLS,
_jabber._tcp resolving, invisible presence, jabber:iq:browse browsing).

If we set that date about one year in the future, all implementations
should have enough time to update their code.
