[jadmin] Highly Available Jabber server

Greetings,

For over a year, I have been running a jabberd2 server on very modest
hardware at a hoster with zero unscheduled downtime (knock on wood).
With a growing userbase and demands that I have some sort of
redundant/highly available server setup, I have been poking around the
web for options.

I've been looking into having multiple VPS and running ejabberd.  Is
that the way to go?  Anybody have other options or ideas?

PS. my userbase will probably never exceed 4,000 users
