[jadmin] SonicWall interfering with XMPP traffic

One of our customers sent this to us earlier today, and I wanted to see
if any of the admins here have seen similar behavior out of their
firewalls..

I don't know if anyone else is seeing this, and we are working on
gathering more information. We have already identified SonicWall as a
culprit in doctoring outgoing XMPP, rendering it unreadable by SoapBox
Server. We have identified the changes the user needs to make in a
SonicWall in order to allow unmolested traffic to pass. However, there
are others with who-knows-what that is also molesting outbound XMPP
messages, if they are allowed at all.

Has anyone else encountered this? Are there any general solutions to
this problem?
