Hi,

I've the Jabberd 2.1.18 over freeBSD6.2.
I've been having troubles with the route app, this's the log messages:

I searched in the internet the possible cause and I found that it would be an parsing error of the xml when it contain characters like "á é í ó ú" and others.
I thought that it only occurs when using those characters to identify the contact into the contacts' list so I entered to the roster-items table and removed all those characters and until now, the router seems to be stable.

Here an XML renaming a contact that seems to be right but into the mysql database the "á" appears with strange characters:
------
<iq type="set" to=efrenba at jabber.mydom.cu/psi id="fb9nvr47" >
<query xmlns="jabber:iq:roster">

<item subscription="both" name="Alexis Bárzaga" jid="alex at jabber.mydom.cu" >

<group>AAT</group>

</item>

</query>

</iq>

My question: Is there a real solution to this problem, because the users, although they are noticed about it, they want to use those characters to rename their contacts?
