1) Yes, I am able to add contacts from other Jabber servers.
2) There is a chance this could be a problem. I have recently installed
and setup dnsmasq, however, the problems which I am having with gmail
at the moment were occurring long before then
3) Not sure about this.
4) emerge -pv shows that I currently have jabberd-2.0.11-r1 installed.
(The -r1 is Gentoo-specific.). jabberd-2.0.11-r1 = jabberd-2.1s11, from
what I can see.
