Soon. It's already feature complete. Just debugging, bug fixing and 
updating documentation is left.

1.6.1 is not focused on new features, but is just a change from OpenSSL 
to GnuTLS. The new features are just implications of the new TLS 
library. So jabberd14 1.6.1 will support version 1.1 and 1.2 of TLS and 
will support using OpenPGP instead of X.509 keys for TLS. Also stream 
compression in the TLS layer will be supported (LZO and DEFLATE 
algorithms). And 1.6.1 does fully support Diffie Hellman key exchanges.

Don't you automatically restart the component on the crash? Then users 
should not notice the problem, as the connection will be just restablished.
