No ... 1.6.1 will still be a jabberd14. This is because I do not
consider 1.6.1 to be a real new release. It is mainly published as a
GPL-only alternative to 1.6.0 and therefore I had to switch from OpenSSL
to GnuTLS.

The Debian people had concerns about the JOSL licence and therefore did
never include version 1.4.4 or 1.6.0 of the package.

If using jabberd under the terms of the JOSL licence, there is even no
real reason for updating from 1.6.0 to 1.6.1.

Are your changes on jabberd portable? I'd like to include them in the
main repository of jabberd14 in that case.
