Hello,
It seems that jabber-jud on Debian doesn't support service discovery. The
version of jabberd is 1.4.3 and that of jabber-jud is 0.5. Everything seems
to be going fine but at service discovery this happens:
<iq to='ojacquet at telefuture.com/Gajim' type='result' id='945'
from='telefuture.com'>
<query xmlns='http://jabber.org/protocol/disco#items'>
<item jid='conference.telefuture.com' name='Public Conferencing'/>
<item jid='jud.telefuture.com' name='Jabber User Directory'/>
</query>
</iq>
<iq to="jud.telefuture.com" type="get" id="943"
from="ojacquet at telefuture.com/Gajim">
<query xmlns="http://jabber.org/protocol/disco#info" />
</iq>
<iq to='ojacquet at telefuture.com/Gajim' type='error' id='943'
from='jud.telefuture.com'>
<query xmlns='http://jabber.org/protocol/disco#info'/>
<error code='501'>Not Implemented</error>
</iq>
The discovery of the conferencing (jabber-muc package in debian) works
fine. Is it my configuration or does the implementation doesn't support
this? If not, I'm wondering what it can be used for.
Best regards,
Olivier
