[jadmin] c2s not listening on port 5222

Hi,

A am using jabberd 2.1.17 installed on Slackware 10.2.
After quick installation and setting up the server to work with mysql
backend I found that despite the fact that all the processes seem to
work properly, non of them is actually listening on 5222 port so I could
connect to the server.

The problem looks strange to me as the server does not report any errors.

I have tried various settings, different backends, over 15 compilations...
and no result. Port 5347 is opened and processes seem to talk to
each other, but 5222 remains closed...
