[jadmin] Jabber vs. Jabber+LDAP

Dear All,

I'm  not sure if this list is the right forum for my question, but I'm
considering adopting Jabber in a new project and I'm wondering if
there are benefits in using a Jabber server together with LDAP or only
a Jabber server would be enough for dealing with all types of user
information that must be made available. I'm considering a brand new
user base, i.e., there is no need for accessing a legacy LDAP base.
