Of course. I meant that the server isn't open for registration. Of course it
can communicate with other XMPP servers.

XMPP server-2-server connection is bidirectional - one connection for

Exactly. The problem is that when I installed the server, it worked. After
two weeks began the problems with the resolution of some hosts like
jabber.org and gtalk.

Now I solved it using SRV records for gtalk, but I'm not able to solve the
jabber.org.

If your server is behind firewall/NAT you need to make a

Of course. I have in the firewall a hole/pf for the connections for
client/server and server/server. As I wrote before; the server works
perfectly with plain and cert auth. with almost every server, but it has
problems with others.

Someone told me that the problem is with the DNS, but I don't know if that's
the problem. ¿ Should the dns discover everything without extra SRV entries
?.

That part is the one that I don't understand at all because I read in some
sites/docs that I do need to add them, but in other sources I read that I
don't need to do it.

Thanks for your help.

Juan
