[jadmin] jabberd14 external auth module

Hi guys.

Is it possible to implement external authentication method instead of  
built in xdb_file and xdb_sql? I spent a lot of time on this and found  
out the following http://www.snoogans.co.uk/jabber/ but it seems there  
is incompatibility of this scripts with my os environment. I need to  
auth jabber users using my existing mysql database layout with  
passwords stored with mysql's native password() function. Is it  
possible at all to solve the problem?

I use jabber jabberd14-1.6.1.1 on debian stable.
