That change alters version from 11 to 14.  (The python transport runs at
version 12 and still works okay).

I chatted to as ex-yahoo person last week, and he mentioned that the
initial-roster parsing code would have to change pretty drastically for the
newer version.  So you might find that the roster sync code is now
non-functional - or you might be lucky and it still works :-)
