Could you please describe the problem in more detail? What errors are you 
getting? Can you run pidgin from the command line and see anything useful 
there? Are you using SSL or TLS? What do the jabberd logs say (is this 
Jabberd2.1 or 2.0? What exact version?)? Other clients work fine?
