I'm working in C++, on dedicated hardware (doing a Jingle to H.323/SIP 
gateway).  Unfortunately, this means everything is implemented from the 
ground up and closed source, and so not using any available libraries, 
or writing any for others to use.

The reason it only makes video calls to itself is because there's 
nothing else to make video calls to.  It would be nice to make a video 
call to something else; unfortunately there is nothing else!
