Hi Peter,

What Pete meant may have been something like similar to (and possibly 
extending) this.

(There may be more recent and relevant examples.)

Standardizing this would enable multiple jabber server (or ldap jud) 
implementations to leverage the same directory data without requiring 
duplication or migration.  That is of course, only for the standard 
subset as specific server implementations will want to store more data 
in ldap than what a lowest common denominator schema permits.
