can you increase the attachment size w/o moderator approval for the
whiteboarding mailing list to 1MB?

the point I was trying to make is that committees are the norm for standards
bodies and they generally work fairly well. they maybe slow, but tend to end
up with better products in the long term. The W3.org was just an example.
