[Standards-JIG] Help Needed-Problem In Compiling Gaim Source Code

Hello Everybody,

I am currnetly involved in adding some new features like voice and video 
streaming (JINGLE  LIBRARY) to a Jabber Client
called Gaim(JEP-0166).I have the source code gaim-1.5.0.tar.gz. For 
compile this code i installed the cygwin and also the other 
dependencies. The compiler seems working properly. But while compiling 
it gave following error.

yahoo_auth.c:512:21: \x used with no following hex digits
yahoo_auth.c:512: warning: initializer-string for array of chars is too 
long
yahoo_auth.c:512: warning: (near initialization for 
`type_three_list[2].buffer')
make[1]: *** [yahoo_auth.o] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/kapilan/gaim/src/protocols/yahoo'
make: *** [all] Error 2

Plz anyone if having any experience in gaim then suggest how to proceed 
with ?
