We have this feature in our implementation. People who host really big
(larger than 1000), mostly read-only, conference rooms love it. Coupled
with a moderated room it works great.

It's a good question why that's in the room configuration example
when section 7.1.3 seems to mandate the broadcasting of everyone's
presence.
