[Standards-JIG] JE..er..XEP-0046: DTCP

I was just looking over XEP-0046: Direct TCP connection... It was  
"Retracted by the authors", with no reason given (if any).

I would really like to understand the reasoning behind the  
retraction, and also why such a mechanism would be a bad idea to  
implement. Is it because it is superseded by Jingle?

I really think that for retracted items that an explanation should be  
required, but I digress...
