Yes, my bad, sorry. This was pretty much superceded by a jep I  
promised to finish writing which addressed all the issues brought up  
on this list. I haven't yet. An old unfinished version of the new JEP  
lives at http://kismith.co.uk/tmp/meta.html and I really must, must,  
must finish this off. I believe Gajim is implementing this JEP already.
