My MUA has a basic understanding of HTML, but it's a straight text-mode 
client.  Likewise, I expect any (decent) text-mode XMPP client to be able 
to show the text parts of any XHTML-IM stanza to me, rather than throwing 
its virtual hands up and discarding that part of the stanza.
