i still think this information does not belong to caps only because some
users would like to see the os which I am running.
We also have jabber:iq:time, which is more useful for me than the os
when talking to people in other timezones. And there is many other stuff
which people want to render on their roster.
I agree with Joe here, don't break a good protocol because of some info
which is useful for some people only. I vote for a new XEP where we can
add all this information people want.
And Peter stats show us that the additional info in each presence need
more bytes than the iq floods in long lived sessions.
