Version 1.2 of XEP-0136 (Message Archiving) has been released.

Abstract: This document defines mechanisms and preferences for the server-side archiving and retrieval of XMPP messages.

Changelog: Added persistent auto save setting and ability to control settings per chat session; XMPP Council added a statement regarding a future review and simplification of this protocol. (at/yl)
