Yep. And besides, I can imagine some really cool webapps which would
need some "none-client-specific" enduser-site. For example, imagine
something like a "how to register"-howto:

* server admin of jabber.foo.bar provides to his user an url like
  http://www.jabber.org/howto/register/jabber.foo.bar
* http://www.jabber.org/howto/register/ then asks for the client the
  user is using
* http://www.jabber.org/howto/register/ then provides the approbiate
  registration howto for the client with screenshots of the client, and
  jabber.foo.bar placed in the screenshot at the correct place.

This would be a really helpful application (same e.g. for transport
registration), and is something which is for sure not possible by the
several client applications itself due to the lack of the "one url to
rule them all" feature. And it would be easy to implement.
