/me still thinks umbrella branding is a much better solution for this

You should contact the Firefox people and ask them how hard it is to
gain market share in a world were end users (again, no geeks!) believe
their Internet is broken when the blue Internet Explorer icon is
removed from their desktop :o)

It's also valid when there is good umbrella branding (stpeter, I hope
