(off-topic: if the XSF can't decide on this because this guy wants
"Talk", the other wants "XMPP", you want "Jabber", someone else

And do end users care about Jabber? Just think about it. End users
only care about the tools, not about the system. End users didn't
switched to Firefox because it supports so much more and so much
better W3C standards than Internet Explorer. No, they switched because
the Mozilla Foundation was so smart to market the visible advantages
for the end user of the tool. Firefox wouldn't be so successful if the
Mozilla Foundation thad targeted end users with advantages for
webmasters...
To repeat myself once again :o) that's also why I am convinced that
projects like Coccinella are much better in targeting the end user;
they have the best knowledge about the advantages of their software
for their end user base than any third party project can have.
