So there is no interest at all in my proposal from the XMPP community?
I would like to know the final answer on this question because then I
can start considering if and how I can set up this system for
Coccinella only. Better than wasting my time on this list I guess.

I ran my own private and a public server with transports several years
ago and it was fun for me. Some people like running servers, and
others like writing protocol specs ;-)
