I just added a "release_date" field to clients, servers, components, 
libraries and custom projects.

It is a text based field which is not cute, but teaching drupal to treat 
the values as actual "dates" would mean to install yet another module 
and stuff... so I guess it will work for now.

should these fields be mandatory? (i think the more restrictive we are, 
the more valuable is our data)
