Yes, but how adds this information to the end user experience? Does he
really care about where the server is located? I think he cares more
about which features the server support. I think this feature is more
useful for the end user: create dynamic lists of servers. E.g.
http://jabber.org/servers.php?aim=yes&msn=yes will only show a list of
servers that at least have an AIM transport and an ICQ transport. You
can add more possible parameters such as uptime (to only show servers
with an uptime of the defined value or higher), cluster (to only show
server with the defined number of nodes or higher), proxy (file
transfer proxy support), gg (Gadu-Gadu), smtp, pep,... Maybe you can
even allow clients to specify XEP versions when they request the list
(e.g. "send me a list of servers that support version 1.1 or higher of
the PEP XEP ("xep106=1.1") as I (the client) am not compatible with
older versions")
