+1 for the alien spaceships. Actually I thought it looked more like a
brainwashing machine, and that got me thinking... :P

As for the logo, I'm actually also for dropping the light bulb. I just
think it is more or less expired, now, and it kind of lets the side
down. I do think that confusing the XMPP/Jabber logos is a bad move,
but maybe we can come up with something significant. An example:
cutting the X logo out of a speech bubble shape.
