The xmpp logo perfectly serves as a distinct logo to build upon.
That's why I changed the color to the jabber.org red and removed the 
internal stripes structure. (don't you think that is enough change?)

The importance and power obviously lies within the unique shape. the 
xmpp "X" shape has all the power that we need.
